February sees lots of personal service.

February may be the shortest month of the year, but it didn't see a diminishing of assistance provided to those in need.

Almost a quarter of a million dollars worth of food was distributed.  Our volunteers washed, repaired, and distributed clothing and household goods valued at $20, 468!  In addition we thank God and our generous donors for their gifts of almost $3400!

In February, 2660 families were served at the food bank.  Our volunteers donated 1232 hours during the month.  One way to consider these figures is to see that each family received, on average, almost 30 minutes of volunteer time.  That is truly personal service!  If you would like to become a part of this wonderful work, please call us at 544-9315, or stop by the food bank at 115 Lewis Street on Wednesdays between 11 a.m. and 4 in the afternoon.
